Wedding Payment Policy


Reserve the date  -  $500.00

This booking fee is required in order to reserve the date for your wedding. This is in addition to your total agreed upon rental fee. This fee is non-refundable

12 Months before the Wedding  -  25% Rental Total Due
First payment of 1/4 of the total rental fee agreed upon is due. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.

10 Months before the Wedding  -  25% Rental Total Due
Second payment of 1/4 of the total rental fee agreed upon is due. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.

8 Months before the Wedding  -  25% Rental Total Due
Third payment of 1/4 of the total rental fee agreed upon is due. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.

6 Months before the Wedding  -  25% Rental Total Due
Fourth payment of 1/4 of the total rental fee agreed upon is due. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.

45 Days before the Wedding  -  Alcohol Package Payment
Alcohol package will be invoiced 60 days before the wedding and will be due 45 days before the wedding. Once this payment is made it is non-refundable.

2 Weeks before the Wedding  -  Damage Deposit Due $500.00
The Barn at Hamner Ridge will require a $500 Damage Deposit due no later than two weeks prior to the event. The Damage Deposit will be held until after the event and will be refunded upon determination that all clean up responsibilities are complete and no damages have been done to the premises.  
                                                        
Cancellation
If a couple must cancel their wedding any payments that have already been paid, are non-refundable. The remaining amount due may be waived based on the circumstances, but is not guaranteed to be waived. It is highly recommended that couples obtain wedding insurance to cover themselves in case of unforeseen circumstances related to wedding cancellations.

The Barn at Hamner Ridge cannot and will not be responsible for acts of God or inclement weather. If the venue must cancel a couple's wedding due to natural disaster, whereby the barn is destroyed, a full refund of the package price will be issued to the couple as soon as it is known that the wedding will not be able to take place.

In instances where the event must be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, caused neither by the client nor the barn, all fees related to changing the date (postponement) will be waived and an alternate date will be accepted. Cancellation in this case would result in forfeiture of any payments made and all remaining payments would still be due and payable.


The Barn at Hamner Ridge currently accepts cash, checks, bank transfers, and most major credit cards. Personalized payment plans are available upon request. Late fees of 10% are added to all late payments.
